 ker meetings comprising an industry update and guest or in-house CPD speak
 er(s). Following a brief introduction\, the agenda will be:\n\nProficiency
  brief update / industry news\nMain session - Proficiency Chair\, Ian Stur
 t\, be talking about a number of the issues being discussed in industry gr
 oups.This will include hot topics such as...- HMOs- Unaccompanied access- 
 Retrofit CPD Hours- Impact of software changes- Exemptions- Conventions up
 dates\n\nWe will then pick up any specific AOB items tabled for the meetin
 g or carried forward from the previous meeting.\nThis is followed by an op
 en floor discussion and networking session to close the meeting. Expect th
 is to finish around 7:30 pm but allow some flexibility if you can an there
  is a lot to gained from the open discussions and networking at the end.\n
 This event is FREE for Proficiency members. It is open to non-members at a
  cost of £20\nAttendance certificates will be added to the member's  CPD r
 ecord. Non-members will be provided with an attendance certificate to enab
 le them to claim at least an hour of relevant CPD.\nHOW IT WORKS - Please 
 read carefully\nYou will be sent joining instructions and/or the relevant 
 link ahead of the meeting. This is typically sent out about 1 day ahead of
  the event. For online events we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahea
 d of the event you will receive a link to register for the event. You can 
 do this any time from then until just before the meeting starts. Once you 
 have registered you will receive the actual meeting link. Please ensure yo
 u register using your correct full name. This ensures you will get the rig
 ht name on your CPD certificate (if applicable)\,\nPlease also ensure you 
 have tested your set up and both your audio and video are working. If we c
 annot see you are present we may not be able to issue you with a CPD certi
 ficate. If you know in advance that you will not have video capability\, p
 lease email events@proficiency.services and we will agree an alternative w
 ay in which the organisers can verify you were actually present (and hopef
 ully paying attention) for the entire session.\nIf you need to briefly dea
 l with something like an urgent phone call during the session\, please tur
 n your video off whilst you do so to avoid a distraction to other attendee
 s. Video off for short periods of absence will not affect eligibility for 
 CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of absence or where video is off so yo
 u could be absent\, will prevent us being able to issue a CPD certificate.
  This verification of your presence is essential for us to ensure that the
  value of Proficiency CPD certificates is maintained so they can be accept
 ed by accreditation schemes. \n(There are no refunds where CPD certificate
