 overs' session but also highly relevant to experienced DesignBuilder users
 .\nPre-Booking is required.\nThis CPD session will be presented by Ian Stu
 rt\, the prior Chairman of Proficiency and experienced DesignBuilder user.
   This will be an interactive workshop session focussing on topics request
 ed by attendees.\n\n\nLive model scenarios requested by attendees (prefera
 bly ahead of time)\, plus...\n \n\n\nDesignBuilder's Inheritance Hierarchy
 \nProgram options and Model options\nUsing Templates v/s Library\nModel Da
 ta Grid View\nThe Follow Path tool\nZone within a zone\nRooms in roofs\, d
 ormers\, raised skylights and light tubes\n\n\n\n\nThe aim is to demonstra
 te the effective way(s) of utilising the helpful features in DesignBuilder
 . There will be demonstration of some methods\, but also an opportunity to
  discuss and share alternatives\, se everyone should learn something from 
 this workshop session.\nTime permitting we can also pick up other topics i
 ntroduced during the session.\nThis event is FREE for Proficiency members.
  It is open to non-members at a cost of £25. (It makes more sense to join 
 and get access to at least 12 live\, interactive CPD sessions for free in 
 the year)\nAttendance certificates will be added to the member's  CPD reco
 rd. Non-members will be provided with a PDF attendance certificate. The me
 eting is expected to last for about an hour and a half overall\, and to qu

  instructions and/or the relevant link ahead of the meeting. This is typic
 ally sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online events we general
 ly use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you will receive a link t
 o register for the event. You can do this any time from then until just be
 fore the meeting starts. Once you have registered you will receive the act
 ual meeting link. Please ensure you register using your correct full name.
  This ensures you will get the right name on your CPD certificate (if appl
 icable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\, please check your junk 
 / spam folder before contacting us to say you haven't received the link. I
 t will probably be there. If it is not then do contact events@proficiency.

 o issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in advance that you will n
 ot have video capability\, please email events@proficiency.services and we
  will agree an alternative way in which the organisers can verify you were
  actually present (and hopefully paying attention) for the entire session.
 \nIf you need to briefly deal with something like an urgent phone call dur
 ing the session\, please turn your video off whilst you do so to avoid a d
 istraction to other attendees. Video off for short periods of absence will
  not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of absence
  or where video is off so you could be absent\, will prevent us being able
  to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of your presence is essenti
 al for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency CPD certificates is main
 tained so they can be accepted by accreditation schemes. \n(There are no r
 efunds where CPD certificates cannot be issued due to only partial attenda
