There are few people in the industry with a better understanding of why they are writte n the way they are.\nThe session will consist of:\n\nA summary of the conv entions process\nWhat the conventions group can and cannot do\nAnswers to questions that have been submitted ahead of the session\nAnswers to questi ons from attendees at the session\nIf time permits\, Ian will then talk th rough some of the conventions that assessors seem to be most prone to gett ing wrong.\n\nTo get the most out of this session\, please think about whi ch conventions you don't really understand. This is typicall y sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online events we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you will receive a link to r egister for the event. You can do this any time from then until just befor e the meeting starts. Once you have registered you will receive the actual meeting link. Please ensure you register using your correct full name. Th is ensures you will get the right name on your CPD certificate (if applica ble)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\, please check your junk / s pam folder before contacting us to say you haven't received the link. Once we have started to set u p for the session we will not be able to take calls or respond to emails). \nPlease also ensure you have tested your set up and both your audio and v ideo are working. Video off for short periods of absence will no t affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of absence or where video is off so you could be absent\, will prevent us being able to issue a CPD certificate.
