DESCRIPTION:Booking closes at 2 pm on the day of the event.\nOne of our reg
 ular (monthly) speaker meetings comprising an industry update and guest or
  in-house CPD speaker(s). Following a brief introduction\, the agenda will
  be:\n\nProficiency brief update / industry news\nMain session - Phil Maso
 n\, Head of Regulatory Engagement for TrustMark will be bringing us up to 
 date on how Retrofit is working from their perspective (which is pretty mu
 ch at the heart of it so should be an extremely valuable perspective).Subj
 ects likely to be covered include:- TrustMark's function as a registration
  scheme- What TrustMark is doing\, and why- Indications of where governmen
 t and Ofgem may potentially be heading- Feed back on progress\, what is wo
 rking well and what the ongoing challenges are- The Great British Insulati
 on Scheme (GBIS)- ECO 4 challenges and what might be able to ease delivery
 - The TrustMark QA process\n\nWe will then pick up any specific AOB items 
 tabled for the meeting or carried forward from the previous meeting.\nThis
  is followed by an open floor discussion and networking session to close t
 he meeting. Expect this to finish around 7:30 pm but allow some flexibilit
 y if you can an there is a lot to gained from the open discussions and net
 working at the end.\nPLEASE NOTE - Due to Phil's high profile role in enga
 gement with Government (including the devolved nations) and Ofgem\, he doe
 s sometimes get called to attend critical meetings at short notice. Hopefu
 lly that will not affect this event\, but there is a slightly higher than 
 normal risk that this one may need to be rearranged. Should that occur\, w
 e will make people aware as early as possible. All bookings will be transf
 erered to the revised date and anyone who has paid for a ticket and cannot
  make the revised date will\, receive a full refund.\nThis event is FREE f
 or Proficiency members. It is open to non-members at a cost of £20. (It ma
 kes more sense to join and get at least 12 sessions like this for free in 
 the year).\nAttendance certificates will be added to the member's  CPD rec
 ord. Non-members will be provided with an attendance certificate to enable
  them to claim at least an hour of relevant CPD.\nNOT A MEMBER? Join for j

 ciency.services)\nHOW IT WORKS - Please read carefully\nYou will be sent j
 oining instructions and/or the relevant link ahead of the meeting. This is
  typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online events we g
 enerally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you will receive a 
 link to register for the event. You can do this any time from then until j
 ust before the meeting starts. Once you have registered you will receive t
 he actual meeting link. Please ensure you register using your correct full
  name. This ensures you will get the right name on your CPD certificate (i
 f applicable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\, please check your
  junk / spam folder before contacting us to say you haven't received the l
 ink. It will probably be there. If it is not then do contact events@profic
 iency.services but don't leave it to the last minute. Once we have started
  to set up for the session we will not be able to take calls or respond to
  emails).\nPlease also ensure you have tested your set up and both your au
 dio and video are working. If we cannot see you are present we may not be 
 able to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in advance that you 
 will not have video capability\, please email events@proficiency.services 
 and we will agree an alternative way in which the organisers can verify yo
 u were actually present (and hopefully paying attention) for the entire se
 ssion.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something like an urgent phone ca
 ll during the session\, please turn your video off whilst you do so to avo
 id a distraction to other attendees. Video off for short periods of absenc
 e will not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of a
 bsence or where video is off so you could be absent\, will prevent us bein
 g able to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of your presence is e
 ssential for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency CPD certificates i
 s maintained so they can be accepted by accreditation schemes. \n(There ar
 e no refunds where CPD certificates cannot be issued due to only partial a
