There are few p eople in the industry with a better understanding of why they are written the way they are.\nThe session will consist of:\n\nA summary of the conven tions process\nWhat the conventions group can and cannot do\nAnswers to qu estions that have been submitted ahead of the session\nAnswers to question s from attendees at the session\nIf time permits\, Ian will then talk thro ugh some of the conventions that assessors seem to be most prone to gettin g wrong.\n\nTo get the most out of this session\, please think about which conventions you don't really understand. Email your list of those convent ions and an indication of what you are unsure of to events@proficiency.ser vices with 'Domestic Conventions Q&A'  in the subject line.\nAny conventio ns we cannot satisfactorily explain will be identified and referred to the conventions group for clarification.\nThis event is FREE for Proficiency members. It is open to non-members at a cost of £20. (It makes more sense to join and get at least 12 sessions like this for free in the year).\nAtt endance certificates will be added to the member's  CPD record. You can do this any time from then until just before the meeting starts. Once you have registered you will receive the actual meeti ng link. Please ensure you register using your correct full name.
