DESCRIPTION:All about insulation\nPre-Booking is required.\nOne of our regu
 lar (monthly) speaker meetings comprising an industry update and guest or 
 in-house CPD speaker(s). Following a brief introduction\, the agenda will 
 be:\n\nProficiency brief update / industry news\nMain session with guest s
 peaker Dean Owen from SWIPDean will be talking about a range of insulation
  options including solid wall insulation\, underfloor insulation\, roof an
 d room-in-roof insulation. The session should cover a lot of essential kno
 wledge for energy assessors and retrofit professionals including how to kn
 ow what you are looking at\, what to recommend for certain situations and 
 what to avoid in others.\n\nWe will then pick up any specific AOB items ra
 ised by attendees at the meeting or carried forward from the previous meet
 ing.\nThis is followed by an open floor discussion and networking session 
 to close the meeting. Expect this to finish around 7:30 pm but allow some 
 flexibility if you can as there is a lot to gained from the open discussio
 ns and networking at the end.\nThis event is FREE for Proficiency members.
  It is open to non-members at a cost of £20\nAttendance certificates will 
 be added to the member's  CPD record. Non-members will be provided with an
  attendance certificate to enable them to claim at least an hour of releva
 nt CPD.\nHOW IT WORKS - Please read carefully\nYou will be sent joining in
 structions and/or the relevant link ahead of the meeting. This is typicall
 y sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online events we generally 
 use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you will receive a link to r
 egister for the event. You can do this any time from then until just befor
 e the meeting starts. Once you have registered you will receive the actual
  meeting link. Please ensure you register using your correct full name. Th
 is ensures you will get the right name on your CPD certificate (if applica
 ble)\,\nPlease also ensure you have tested your set up and both your audio
  and video are working. If we cannot see you are present we may not be abl
 e to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in advance that you wil
 l not have video capability\, please email events@proficiency.services and
  we will agree an alternative way in which the organisers can verify you w
 ere actually present (and hopefully paying attention) for the entire sessi
 on.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something like an urgent phone call 
 during the session\, please turn your video off whilst you do so to avoid 
 a distraction to other attendees. Video off for short periods of absence w
 ill not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of abse
 nce or where video is off so you could be absent\, will prevent us being a
 ble to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of your presence is esse
 ntial for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency CPD certificates is m
 aintained so they can be accepted by accreditation schemes. \n(There are n
 o refunds where CPD certificates cannot be issued due to only partial atte
