 meetings comprising an industry update and guest CPD speaker from Hex Ener
 gy. Following a brief update from the Proficiency team\, in which we will 
 introduce our new partnership arrangement with EPC Near Me\, the agenda fo
 r the main CPD session will be:\n\nIntroduction to Hex\nOutline of heat pu
 mp tech ASHP & GSHP\nOperational characteristics of each system type\nOutl
 ine of different ground coupling techniques\n\n\nClosed loop boreholes\nCl
 osed loop trenches\nLake loops\nOpen Loop aquifer systems\nOthers such as 
 thermal piles\, heat recovery systems\n\n\nHow we approach a system design
 \nWhat an Energy Assessor may need to look for to determine high level sui
 tability for ASHP\nWhat an Energy Assessor may need to look for to determi
 ne high level suitability for GSHP\nQ & A session\n\nWe will then pick up 
 any specific AOB items tabled for the meeting or carried forward from the 
 previous meeting.\nThis is followed by an open floor discussion and networ
 king session to close the meeting. Expect this to finish around 7:30 pm bu
 t allow some flexibility if you can as there is a lot to gained from the o
 pen discussions and networking at the end.\nThis event is FREE for Profici
 ency members. It is open to non-members at a cost of £20. If you are think
 ing of booking as a non member\, why not join and get this event plus all 
 similar sessions over the next year included in your membership?\nAttendan
 ce certificates will be added to the member's  CPD record. Non-members wil
 l be provided with an attendance certificate to enable them to claim at le
 ast an hour of relevant CPD.\nHOW IT WORKS - Please read carefully\nYou wi
 ll be sent joining instructions and/or the relevant link ahead of the meet
 ing. This is typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online
  events we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you wil
 l receive a link to register for the event. You can do this any time from 
 then until just before the meeting starts. Once you have registered you wi
 ll receive the actual meeting link. Please ensure you register using your 
 correct full name. This ensures you will get the right name on your CPD ce
 rtificate (if applicable)\,\nPlease also ensure you have tested your set u
 p and both your audio and video are working. If we cannot see you are pres
 ent we may not be able to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in
  advance that you will not have video capability\, please email events@pro
 ficiency.services and we will agree an alternative way in which the organi
 sers can verify you were actually present (and hopefully paying attention)
  for the entire session.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something like 
 an urgent phone call during the session\, please turn your video off whils
 t you do so to avoid a distraction to other attendees. Video off for short
  periods of absence will not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prol
 onged periods of absence or where video is off so you could be absent\, wi
 ll prevent us being able to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of 
 your presence is essential for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency 
 CPD certificates is maintained so they can be accepted by accreditation sc
 hemes. \n(There are no refunds where CPD certificates cannot be issued due
