 g is required.\nOne of our regular (monthly) speaker meetings comprising a
 n industry update and a guest speaker from Sava.\nSava are a team of build
 ing physicists and engineers\, software developers\, surveyors and busines
 s management specialists who for 40 years have been involved in Making Bui
 ldings Better.\nFollowing a brief introduction\, the agenda will be:\n\nPr
 oficiency brief update / industry news\nMain session - The future of home 
 heating\n\nThe UK policy context - the Future Homes Standard\, and the end
  of new gas main connections\nHow does a heat pump work?\nThe different ty
 pes of heat pump\, and the different types of heat distribution in the hom
 e\nWhat can go wrong?\nQ&A \n\n\n\nWe will then pick up any specific AOB i
 tems tabled for the meeting or carried forward from the previous meeting.
 \nThis is followed by an open floor discussion and networking session to c
 lose the meeting. Expect this to finish around 5:30 pm but allow some flex
 ibility if you can as there is a lot to gained from the open discussions a
 nd networking at the end.\nThis event is FREE for Proficiency members. It 
 is open to non-members at a cost of £20. (It makes more sense to join and 
 get at least 12 sessions like this for free in the year)\nAttendance certi
 ficates will be added to the member's  CPD record. Non-members will be pro
 vided with an attendance certificate to enable them to claim at least an h
 our of relevant CPD.\nNOT A MEMBER? Join for just £60 and get free access

 S - Please read carefully\nYou will be sent joining instructions and/or th
 e relevant link ahead of the meeting. This is typically sent out about 1 d
 ay ahead of the event. For online events we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24
  hours ahead of the event you will receive a link to register for the even
 t. You can do this any time from then until just before the meeting starts
 . Once you have registered you will receive the actual meeting link. Pleas
 e ensure you register using your correct full name. This ensures you will 
 get the right name on your CPD certificate (if applicable)\,\n(If there is
  less than 24 hours to go\, please check your junk / spam folder before co
 ntacting us to say you haven't received the link. It will probably be ther
 e. If it is not then do contact events@proficiency.services but don't leav
 e it to the last minute. Once we have started to set up for the session we
  will not be able to take calls or respond to emails).\nPlease also ensure
  you have tested your set up and both your audio and video are working. If
  we cannot see you are present we may not be able to issue you with a CPD 
 certificate. If you know in advance that you will not have video capabilit
 y\, please email events@proficiency.services and we will agree an alternat
 ive way in which the organisers can verify you were actually present (and 
 hopefully paying attention) for the entire session.\nIf you need to briefl
 y deal with something like an urgent phone call during the session\, pleas
 e turn your video off whilst you do so to avoid a distraction to other att
 endees. Video off for short periods of absence will not affect eligibility
  for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of absence or where video is off 
 so you could be absent\, will prevent us being able to issue a CPD certifi
 cate. This verification of your presence is essential for us to ensure tha
 t the value of Proficiency CPD certificates is maintained so they can be a
 ccepted by accreditation schemes. \n(There are no refunds where CPD certif
 icates cannot be issued due to only partial attendance at an event). https
