 This CPD session will be presented by Jonny Murton of Murton & Co. Jonny i
 s not only a highly experienced energy assessor\, but also trained many ot
 her energy assessors and continues to mentor newly qualified assessors in 
 the field.\nThe session will look at the process of assessing a typical no
 n-domestic building\, how to do so efficiently\, what to look for and how 
 to record it.\nContent includes\n\nBefore you go\nWhen you arrive\nWhere t
 o start\nWhat to look for first\nThe clues you shouldn't miss\nWhat to pho
 tograph\nWhat to put on your site notes\nHow and when to decide how to zon
 e your building\nMany more useful tips along the way\n\nTarget audience\nT
 his session will be most valuable to newly qualified or inexperienced non-
 domestic energy assessors who have not yet fully established their own per
 sonal method. It will also provide more experienced assessors with an insi
 ght into how others may approach parts of the process differently\, and pr
 obably result in a few 'why didn't I think of that' moments.\nWhat comes n
 ext\nThis is intended to be the first in a series of CPD sessions aimed at
  furthering the skills and knowledge of practicing NDEAs. By participating
  in this session you will have the opportunity help us understand how best
  to support you with those subsequent sessions.\nThis event is FREE for Pr
 oficiency members. It is open to non-members at a cost of £25. (It makes m
 ore sense to join and get access to at least 12 live\, interactive CPD ses
 sions for free in the year)\nAttendance certificates will be added to the 
 member's  CPD record. Non-members will be provided with a PDF attendance c
 ertificate. The meeting is expected to last for about an hour and a half o
 verall\, and to qualify for at least an hour of relevant CPD.\nNOT A MEMBE

 ully\nYou will be sent joining instructions and/or the relevant link ahead
  of the meeting. This is typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the event
 . For online events we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the e
 vent you will receive a link to register for the event. You can do this an
 y time from then until just before the meeting starts. Once you have regis
 tered you will receive the actual meeting link. Please ensure you register
  using your correct full name. This ensures you will get the right name on
  your CPD certificate (if applicable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours t
 o go\, please check your junk / spam folder before contacting us to say yo
 u haven't received the link. It will probably be there. If it is not then 
 do contact events@proficiency.services but don't leave it to the last minu
 te. Once we have started to set up for the session we will not be able to 
 take calls or respond to emails).\nPlease also ensure you have tested your
  set up and both your audio and video are working. If we cannot see you ar
 e present we may not be able to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you k
 now in advance that you will not have video capability\, please email even
 ts@proficiency.services and we will agree an alternative way in which the 
 organisers can verify you were actually present (and hopefully paying atte
 ntion) for the entire session.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something
  like an urgent phone call during the session\, please turn your video off
  whilst you do so to avoid a distraction to other attendees. Video off for
  short periods of absence will not affect eligibility for CPD certificates
 . Prolonged periods of absence or where video is off so you could be absen
 t\, will prevent us being able to issue a CPD certificate. This verificati
 on of your presence is essential for us to ensure that the value of Profic
 iency CPD certificates is maintained so they can be accepted by accreditat
 ion schemes. \n(There are no refunds where CPD certificates cannot be issu
