 ily an 'improvers' session but also highly relevant to experienced DesignB
 uilder users.\nPre-Booking is required.\nThis CPD session will be presente
 d by Ian Sturt\, Chairman of Proficiency and experienced DesignBuilder use
 r.  This will be an interactive workshop session focussing on topics reque
 sted by attendees.\n\nSpecific content to be covered\n\nModelling complex 
 roof shapes (e.g. Roof rooms including dormers and risers to vellux window
 s)\nEffective set up and use of construction libraries\n\n\n\nThe aim is t
 o demonstrate the effective way(s) of utilising the helpful features in De
 signBuilder. There will be demonstration of some methods\, but also an opp
 ortunity to discuss and share alternatives\, se everyone should learn some
 thing from this workshop session.\nTime permitting we can also pick up oth
 er topics introduced during the session.\nThis event is FREE for Proficien
 cy members. It is open to non-members at a cost of £25. (It makes more sen
 se to join and get access to at least 12 live\, interactive CPD sessions f
 or free in the year)\nAttendance certificates will be added to the member'
 s  CPD record. Non-members will be provided with a PDF attendance certific
 ate. The meeting is expected to last for about an hour and a half overall\

 ent joining instructions and/or the relevant link ahead of the meeting. Th
 is is typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online events
  we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you will recei
 ve a link to register for the event. You can do this any time from then un
 til just before the meeting starts. Once you have registered you will rece
 ive the actual meeting link. Please ensure you register using your correct
  full name. This ensures you will get the right name on your CPD certifica
 te (if applicable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\, please check
  your junk / spam folder before contacting us to say you haven't received 
 the link. It will probably be there. If it is not then do contact events@p
 roficiency.services but don't leave it to the last minute. Once we have st
 arted to set up for the session we will not be able to take calls or respo
 nd to emails).\nPlease also ensure you have tested your set up and both yo
 ur audio and video are working. If we cannot see you are present we may no
 t be able to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in advance that
  you will not have video capability\, please email events@proficiency.serv
 ices and we will agree an alternative way in which the organisers can veri
 fy you were actually present (and hopefully paying attention) for the enti
 re session.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something like an urgent pho
 ne call during the session\, please turn your video off whilst you do so t
 o avoid a distraction to other attendees. Video off for short periods of a
 bsence will not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods
  of absence or where video is off so you could be absent\, will prevent us
  being able to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of your presence
  is essential for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency CPD certifica
 tes is maintained so they can be accepted by accreditation schemes. \n(The
 re are no refunds where CPD certificates cannot be issued due to only part
