 Conservation\nPLEASE NOTE - This may be slightly sorter than the typical S
 peaker Meeting. The actual CPD presentation is expected to be approximatel
 y 45 minutes so that is the minimum time for which it is anticipated a CPD
  attendance certificate can be issed. If the Q&A extends what can be certi
 ficated as CPD attendance\, we should be able to issue cerificates for the
  full hour.\nThis CPD gives an overview of the factors to consider in refu
 rbishment and conservation projects\, including the basics of building phy
 sics as related to hygrothermal design. It also provides an overview of th
 e standards\, regulations and frameworks involved in designing for retrofi
 t and conservation.\nThis CPD should qualify for Retrofit relevant hours i
 f you are a RA or RC.\nFollowing a brief Proficiency update the agenda wil

 \n\nThe retrofit and conservation considerations\n\n\nKnowledge of hygroth
 ermal material properties and good design practice\n\n\nIntroduction to hy
 grothermal assessment standards\n\n\nIntroduction to PAS 2035 design frame
 work\n\n\nReducing condensation risks in pitched roof refurbishment\n\n\n
 \n\n\nWe will then pick up any specific AOB items tabled for the meeting o
 r carried forward from the previous meeting.\nThis is followed by an open 
 floor discussion and networking session to close the meeting. Expect this 
 to finish around 5:30 pm but allow some flexibility if you can as there is
  a lot to gained from the open discussions and networking at the end.\nThi
 s event is FREE for Proficiency members. It is open to non-members at a co
 st of £25. (It makes more sense to join and get at least 12 sessions like 
 this for free in the year)\nAttendance certificates will be added to the m
 ember's  CPD record. Non-members will be provided with an attendance certi
 ficate to enable them to claim at least an hour of relevant CPD.\nNOT A ME

 You will be sent joining instructions and/or the relevant link ahead of th
 e meeting. This is typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For 
 online events we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event y
 ou will receive a link to register for the event. You can do this any time
  from then until just before the meeting starts. Once you have registered 
 you will receive the actual meeting link. Please ensure you register using
  your correct full name. This ensures you will get the right name on your 
 CPD certificate (if applicable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\,
  please check your junk / spam folder before contacting us to say you have
 n't received the link. It will probably be there. If it is not then do con
 tact events@proficiency.services but don't leave it to the last minute. On
 ce we have started to set up for the session we will not be able to take c
 alls or respond to emails).\nPlease also ensure you have tested your set u
 p and both your audio and video are working. If we cannot see you are pres
 ent we may not be able to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in
  advance that you will not have video capability\, please email events@pro
 ficiency.services and we will agree an alternative way in which the organi
 sers can verify you were actually present (and hopefully paying attention)
  for the entire session.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something like 
 an urgent phone call during the session\, please turn your video off whils
 t you do so to avoid a distraction to other attendees. Video off for short
  periods of absence will not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prol
 onged periods of absence or where video is off so you could be absent\, wi
 ll prevent us being able to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of 
 your presence is essential for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency 
 CPD certificates is maintained so they can be accepted by accreditation sc
 hemes. \n(There are no refunds where CPD certificates cannot be issued due
