 oin us for a vital CPD session that goes beyond product talk to unpack the
  real-world impact of damp\, mould and condensation in residential setting
 s. We will explore:\n• Why mould appears\, how to identify and treat it ef
 fectively• The dangers of bleach-based sprays and the benefits of the MGC 
 3-stage treatment• Practical prevention tips for residents\nUnderstand the
  urgency\, scale and responsibility behind mould remediation—and why your 
 role matters.\nAs well as their CPD certificate\, attendees will receive a
  certificate to show that they have been trained in the correct applicatio
 n of MGC products. Most social housing providers will ask to see this cert
 ificate to prove that operatives have been trained in their application. M
 GC are also the only mould eradication products listed and approved on the
  National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates (SOR). This product is also
  suitable for residents to apply to their own homes after advice from a DE
 A\, RA etc.\nPlease note: Awaab’s Law comes into force on 27 October 2025\
 , setting new legal expectations around the timely resolution of damp and 
 mould issues in social housing.\nLet’s raise standards\, protect residents
 \, and stay ahead of compliance. Sign up now.\nWe will then pick up any sp
 ecific AOB items tabled for the meeting or carried forward from the previo
 us meeting.\nThis is followed by an open floor discussion and networking s
 ession to close the meeting. Expect this to finish around 5:30 pm but allo
 w some flexibility if you can as there is a lot to gained from the open di
 scussions and networking at the end.\nThis event is FREE for Proficiency m
 embers. It is open to non-members at a cost of £25. (It makes more sense t
 o join and get at least 12 sessions like this for free in the year)\nAtten
 dance certificates will be added to the member's  CPD record. Non-members 
 will be provided with an attendance certificate to enable them to claim at

  \nHOW IT WORKS - Please read carefully\nYou will be sent joining instruct
 ions and/or the relevant link ahead of the meeting. This is typically sent
  out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online events we generally use Zo
 om.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you will receive a link to registe
 r for the event. You can do this any time from then until just before the 
 meeting starts. Once you have registered you will receive the actual meeti
 ng link. Please ensure you register using your correct full name. This ens
 ures you will get the right name on your CPD certificate (if applicable)\,
 \n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\, please check your junk / spam fo
 lder before contacting us to say you haven't received the link. It will pr
 obably be there. If it is not then do contact events@proficiency.services 
 but don't leave it to the last minute. Once we have started to set up for 
 the session we will not be able to take calls or respond to emails).\nPlea
 se also ensure you have tested your set up and both your audio and video a
 re working. If we cannot see you are present we may not be able to issue y
 ou with a CPD certificate. If you know in advance that you will not have v

 ee an alternative way in which the organisers can verify you were actually
  present (and hopefully paying attention) for the entire session.\nIf you 
 need to briefly deal with something like an urgent phone call during the s
 ession\, please turn your video off whilst you do so to avoid a distractio
 n to other attendees. Video off for short periods of absence will not affe
 ct eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of absence or where
  video is off so you could be absent\, will prevent us being able to issue
  a CPD certificate. This verification of your presence is essential for us
  to ensure that the value of Proficiency CPD certificates is maintained so
  they can be accepted by accreditation schemes. \n(There are no refunds wh
 ere CPD certificates cannot be issued due to only partial attendance at an
