 s session will be presented by Andrew Parkin\, Chairman of the Property En
 ergy Professionals Association (PEPA)\nThe session will be looking at wher
 e energy assessment currently is\, where it is going\, as well as the chal
 lenges and opportunities that are coming in the months and years ahead. Th
 is session should be highly relevant to all strands.\nFollowing a brief Pr
 oficiency update the agenda will be:\n\nPEPA Industry Update\n\nWho is PEP
 A and what does it do?\nWhat is the relationship between PEPA and Proficie
 ncy and why is it important?\nWhat has been achieved to date?\nWho are the
  other main stakeholders and who are responsible for what (gov / methodolo
 gy / conventions / SORs / software / guidance / oversight etc.)?\nWhat do 
 we know is coming down the line and what do we think is coming?\n \n\n\n\n
 We will then pick up any specific AOB items tabled for the meeting or carr
 ied forward from the previous meeting.\nThis is followed by an open floor 
 discussion and networking session to close the meeting. Expect this to fin
 ish around 5:30 pm but allow some flexibility if you can as there is a lot
  to gained from the open discussions and networking at the end.\nThis even
 t is FREE for Proficiency members. It is open to non-members at a cost of 
 £25. (It makes more sense to join and get at least 12 sessions like this f
 or free in the year)\nAttendance certificates will be added to the member'
 s  CPD record. Non-members will be provided with an attendance certificate
  to enable them to claim at least an hour of relevant CPD.\nNOT A MEMBER?

 ll be sent joining instructions and/or the relevant link ahead of the meet
 ing. This is typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online
  events we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you wil
 l receive a link to register for the event. You can do this any time from 
 then until just before the meeting starts. Once you have registered you wi
 ll receive the actual meeting link. Please ensure you register using your 
 correct full name. This ensures you will get the right name on your CPD ce
 rtificate (if applicable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\, pleas
 e check your junk / spam folder before contacting us to say you haven't re
 ceived the link. It will probably be there. If it is not then do contact e
 vents@proficiency.services but don't leave it to the last minute. Once we 
 have started to set up for the session we will not be able to take calls o
 r respond to emails).\nPlease also ensure you have tested your set up and 
 both your audio and video are working. If we cannot see you are present we
  may not be able to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in advan
 ce that you will not have video capability\, please email events@proficien
 cy.services and we will agree an alternative way in which the organisers c
 an verify you were actually present (and hopefully paying attention) for t
 he entire session.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something like an urg
 ent phone call during the session\, please turn your video off whilst you 
 do so to avoid a distraction to other attendees. Video off for short perio
 ds of absence will not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged 
 periods of absence or where video is off so you could be absent\, will pre
 vent us being able to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of your p
 resence is essential for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency CPD ce
 rtificates is maintained so they can be accepted by accreditation schemes.
