 ion testing. What is it\, why is it important\, what are the available met
 hods and most importantly\, what are the opportunities presented to energy
  assessors and associated professionals?\nThe session will discuss the pra
 ctical benefits of airtightness testing in residential\, commercial\, and 
 retrofit projects. We'll dispel the myths\, point out the legal motivation
 s\, and demonstrate how testing can have quantifiable advantages\, ranging
  from reduced carbon emissions and energy costs to enhanced occupant healt
 h and happiness.\n \nAttendees will gain a comprehensive grasp on why airt
 ightness testing is essential to high-performance\, future-proof buildings
  and not just a compliance checkbox thanks to case studies and practical i
 nsights.\n \nWe will then pick up any specific AOB items tabled for the me
 eting or carried forward from the previous meeting.\nThis is followed by a
 n open floor discussion and networking session to close the meeting. Expec
 t this to finish around 5:30 pm but allow some flexibility if you can as t

 d.\nThis event is FREE for Proficiency members. It is open to non-members 
 at a cost of £25. (It makes more sense to join and get at least 12 session
 s like this for free in the year)\nAttendance certificates will be added t
 o the member's  CPD record. Non-members will be provided with an attendanc
 e certificate to enable them to claim at least an hour of relevant CPD.\nN

 d of the meeting. This is typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the even
 t. For online events we generally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the 
 event you will receive a link to register for the event. You can do this a
 ny time from then until just before the meeting starts. Once you have regi
 stered you will receive the actual meeting link. Please ensure you registe
 r using your correct full name. This ensures you will get the right name o
 n your CPD certificate (if applicable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours 
 to go\, please check your junk / spam folder before contacting us to say y
 ou haven't received the link. It will probably be there. If it is not then
  do contact events@proficiency.services but don't leave it to the last min
 ute. Once we have started to set up for the session we will not be able to
  take calls or respond to emails).\nPlease also ensure you have tested you
 r set up and both your audio and video are working. If we cannot see you a
 re present we may not be able to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you 
 know in advance that you will not have video capability\, please email eve

  organisers can verify you were actually present (and hopefully paying att
 ention) for the entire session.\nIf you need to briefly deal with somethin
 g like an urgent phone call during the session\, please turn your video of
 f whilst you do so to avoid a distraction to other attendees. Video off fo
 r short periods of absence will not affect eligibility for CPD certificate
 s. Prolonged periods of absence or where video is off so you could be abse
 nt\, will prevent us being able to issue a CPD certificate. This verificat
 ion of your presence is essential for us to ensure that the value of Profi
 ciency CPD certificates is maintained so they can be accepted by accredita
 tion schemes. \n(There are no refunds where CPD certificates cannot be iss
