 ractive CPD session designed specifically for sole traders and owners of s
 mall companies. This event combines a concise\, presentation with an exten
 ded Q&A segment to address the real-world accountacy challenges you face.
 \nWhat is this session all about?\nReally this is up to you as the attende
 \, the question is 'What would you like to gain out of this session?'\nTen
 nick accountants are an accountancy firm in newcastle but unless you are d
 irectly a client they aren't your accountants\, however they are willing t
 o offer a session to Proficiency members to be able to speak about the iss
 ues you face as small buisness owners. They can answer your questions the 
 best they can but without seeing your accounts they will be limited on the
  specific advise they can give so will be able to give some broad advice t
 o us.\n \nWe would ask you submit your questions ahead of the event by usi
 ng this link  \n \nExpect this to finish around 16:30 but allow some flexi
 bility if you can.\nThis event is FREE for Proficiency members only. \nThi
 s will qualify as certificated attendance CPD and be added to the member's

 ining instructions and/or the relevant link ahead of the meeting. This is 
 typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online events we ge
 nerally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you will receive a l
 ink to register for the event. You can do this any time from then until ju
 st before the meeting starts. Once you have registered you will receive th
 e actual meeting link. Please ensure you register using your correct full 
 name. This ensures you will get the right name on your CPD certificate (if
  applicable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\, please check your 
 junk / spam folder before contacting us to say you haven't received the li
 nk. It will probably be there. If it is not then do contact events@profici
 ency.services but don't leave it to the last minute. Once we have started 
 to set up for the session we will not be able to take calls or respond to 
 emails).\nPlease also ensure you have tested your set up and both your aud
 io and video are working. If we cannot see you are present we may not be a
 ble to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in advance that you w
 ill not have video capability\, please email events@proficiency.services a
 nd we will agree an alternative way in which the organisers can verify you
  were actually present (and hopefully paying attention) for the entire ses
 sion.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something like an urgent phone cal
 l during the session\, please turn your video off whilst you do so to avoi
 d a distraction to other attendees. Video off for short periods of absence
  will not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of ab
 sence or where video is off so you could be absent\, will prevent us being
  able to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of your presence is es
 sential for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency CPD certificates is
  maintained so they can be accepted by accreditation schemes. \n(There are
  no refunds where CPD certificates cannot be issued due to only partial at
