 y\, and most of the content should be relevant to all strands of energy as
 sessment. Part of the session will look at modelling smart hot water solut
 ions within RdSAP\,  which will obviously be most relevant to our domestic
  assessors. There should also be an opportunity to consider the implicatio
 ns for NDEAs as Mixergy have recently brought out their commerical range. 
 \nFollowing a brief introduction\, the agenda will be:\n\nProficiency brie
 f update / industry news\nMain session - Smart and connected hot water tec
 hnologies\, including...\n\nWhat smart water heating looks like\nThe types
  of product available\nSmart controls\nConnection to Solar PV\nIntegration
  with gas or oil boilers and heat pumps.\nModelling in RdSAP\n\n\n\nWe wil
 l then pick up any specific AOB items tabled for the meeting or carried fo
 rward from the previous meeting.\nThis is followed by an open floor discus
 sion and networking session to close the meeting. Expect this to finish ar
 ound 5:30 pm but allow some flexibility if you can as there is a lot to ga
 ined from the open discussions and networking at the end.\nThis event is F
 REE for Proficiency members. It is open to non-members at a cost of £25. (
 It makes more sense to join and get at least 12 sessions like this for fre
 e in the year)\nAttendance certificates will be added to the member's  CPD
  record. Non-members will be provided with a PDF attendance certificate. T
 he meeting is expected to last for about an hour and a half overall\, and

 typically sent out about 1 day ahead of the event. For online events we ge
 nerally use Zoom.\nAround 24 hours ahead of the event you will receive a l
 ink to register for the event. You can do this any time from then until ju
 st before the meeting starts. Once you have registered you will receive th
 e actual meeting link. Please ensure you register using your correct full 
 name. This ensures you will get the right name on your CPD certificate (if
  applicable)\,\n(If there is less than 24 hours to go\, please check your 
 junk / spam folder before contacting us to say you haven't received the li
 nk. It will probably be there. If it is not then do contact events@profici
 ency.services but don't leave it to the last minute. Once we have started 
 to set up for the session we will not be able to take calls or respond to 
 emails).\nPlease also ensure you have tested your set up and both your aud
 io and video are working. If we cannot see you are present we may not be a
 ble to issue you with a CPD certificate. If you know in advance that you w
 ill not have video capability\, please email events@proficiency.services a
 nd we will agree an alternative way in which the organisers can verify you
  were actually present (and hopefully paying attention) for the entire ses
 sion.\nIf you need to briefly deal with something like an urgent phone cal
 l during the session\, please turn your video off whilst you do so to avoi
 d a distraction to other attendees. Video off for short periods of absence
  will not affect eligibility for CPD certificates. Prolonged periods of ab
 sence or where video is off so you could be absent\, will prevent us being
  able to issue a CPD certificate. This verification of your presence is es
 sential for us to ensure that the value of Proficiency CPD certificates is
  maintained so they can be accepted by accreditation schemes. \n(There are
  no refunds where CPD certificates cannot be issued due to only partial at
