Leanne Madden

Leanne’s career started within Residential Architecture. In 2008, Leanne wrote her University dissertation ‘Are Existing Homes In The U.K Able To Comply With The New British Carbon Emissions Targets?’ 

In 2021 the Global Energy Crisis begun, and her clients became more aware of the need to have energy efficient homes when undertaking refurbishment. This encouraged Leanne to train as a DEA, Retrofit Assessor and Retrofit Coordinator and launch her own business, L RETROFIT. 

Leanne hopes to promote the need for quality Retrofit to existing dwellings; both within her own Essex and Greater London area, and nationally through her involvement in the Proficiency Retrofit Team.
