PEPA Update

The Property Energy Professionals Association (PEPA) Conference is one of the most anticipated and highest value CPD events of the energy assessor calendar, and this year is no exception. In particuler we are looking forward to hearing directly from government and industry speakers including:

Peter Rankin – Head of Energy & Environmental Standards (DLUHC)
Elena Lynch – Head of Energy Performance of Buildings Strategy & Policy Team (DLUHC)
Jessica Skilbeck – Director, Energy Efficiency, Net Zero Buildings and Industry (BEIS)

An explanation of ECO4 is a key item on the agenda for the conference and with delays to ECO4 being finalised the conference has been resceduled to 27th April. Details are CLICK HERE

Booking for the PEPA Conference is via Eventbrite CLICK HERE

The new date clashed with the Proficiency Part L and SAP 10 CPD event so that has been moved to 10th April so as many members as possible will be able to attend the PEPA Conference. Booking for that will open soon on the Proficiency Events page.

PEPA is the trade body which represents the Accreditation Schemes that are engaged in the provision of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Display Energy Certificates (DECs) and Air Conditioning Inspection Reports (ACIRs).

It is these PEPA members who oversee what we do; which is why positive engagement between PEPA and Proficiency is so important for our members.

More recently PEPA has been involved in the launch and implementation of the PAS 2035 standards involving Retrofit Assessors and Retrofit Coordinators via the TrustMark Quality Scheme.

These are some of the reasons why we see PEPA as being very much at the heart of our industry.  And that is why we encourage as many assessors as possible to book now to attend the PEPA Conference on 27th April.
